Orthodoxy as Solidarity

Digiorthodoxy

Digiorthodoxy is a space where we will be collecting information about digital resources relevant to the Baltic Orthodoxy and Orthodox conciliarity as it has been practiced in the Baltic region. Here wil will introduce and present digital projects and collections, some of which have been created by the members of the projects.

Baltic Orthodoxy/Batli Õigeusk is a bilingual English-Estonian online resource run by James White and Irina Paert that aims to provide accessible and informative resources to members of the general public, students, and academics about Orthodoxy in the Baltic. Ranging from the creation of the Riga diocese in 1836 to the German invasion in 1940, the resources offered on this website include a timeline, biographies, maps, photographs, archival documents, and links to further reading. This will make the website one of the leading resources on a fascinating but understudied chapter in European religious history.
